What I am trying to point out is that it is not cool to claim another person is hearing things that can't be. As young man, my hearing extended well into ranges only 1 in many thousand can hear. I heard things that others didn't. Luckily, Army audiologists were able to measure that I was, in fact, hearing things when they heard nothing. That ability, in my opinion, also allowed me to hear nuances others didn't down in the normal hearing range, which probably caused me to acquire gear of qualities most at my age didn't have the ability to appreciate. I am very sensitive to people judging others based on science, especially science as crude as ours. In fact, I hear no differences in power cables or expensive interconnects...but I certainly don't think that gives me the right to assume others do not.
