tromprof
I am thinking about a Inuke 3000dsp for my 2 Cinema F20 subs. Any opinions if one will get the job done. These are pretty efficient so it seems like one should have enough oomph.
derrickdj1
I think it is a great amp and plenty of power for my Ultimax subs (1000 watts RMS/2000 peak). The DSP is great and easy to use. How much power does the driver need RMS? Thaddeus Smith
That sub realistically needs less than 300W. Should be more than sufficient.
tromprof
Thanks. That was my thought as well, I really want the DSP. My Pioneer's MCACC doesn't do much with subs and this seems like an easy way to go.
jason str
Not a Behringer fan myself but 315 watts @ 8 ohms looks about right plus it should have a limiter though I'm not familiar with the product. Judge an amp with the RMS rating and not with peak power. Though the drivers are rated @ 4 Ohm horn loading should raise this value and is why i went with the 8 Ohm rating. derrickdj1
They have limiters and you can use it in stereo or bridge mode if you add another sub down the road. This will save on the next sub. These amps are perfect for MCACC users since the Pioneer DSP is out of the way for the most part and after autocalibration the Behringer DSP can be used without messing up what has been done with MCACC. I have never found the need to do more than two EQ settings below 63 Hz. I have tried 3 and could not make things better than with two good settings. The less EQ the easier the job, lol.
