Heresy manufacturing date question

Hello,

I am new to the forum and have a question regarding a pair of Heresy speakers.  

 

They have serial numbers 715386 and 715387 written on the back paper label.  I can't find any date information on these speakers, or anywhere on the internet.  The Klipsch serial numbering system is confusing to me.

When were they manufactured? and, what version Heresy's are they?

Confusing for sure.  This is the site I usually use.

 

You sure that the "5" is not really an "S"?  I've read that these are easily confused.  If that's an S as the third digit, then they are from 1978.

Hey SHOOZE, welcome to the klipsch forum

TJ is correct in the above post, the 3rd. digit is the letter S for a build date of 1978 

just called a Heresy on the label

OK, thanks all… yes, I see that now, it is an "S" making them a 1978 date code - and I am now assuming a HERESY version #1

Is there an advantage to this version over the others?
