Klipsch speakers for near field listening.

They used to use JBL 4311s as monitors in the Moog synthesizer room at the San Francisco studio called The Different Fur Trading Company. That was in the '70s, as you can tell from the name. They sounded good.
I still have my 4311s in use in my living room, powered by an H/K 430. They are placed upside down on the floor, so the tweeter is up a bit, and the bass is good and solid. I have plugged the ports, which has helped a bit as well.

Through experience, what Klipsch speakers do you guys like best for near field listening. I'm going to put together an office system and am definitely going with Klipsch but I am not settled on a particular speaker. Just looking for suggestions from the Klipschsters.
