Would You Do This To A Classic Amp?

Nice Mark!  I was buying a 65 Austin Healey Sprite from a neighbor for $600 when I was 15 but he felt guilty about asking so much and lowered it to $400.  It still turned out to be too much but it was a blast when we finally got it running good.  Had a friend who had a 62 Sprite (948 cc's)... I don't know if I could even fold myself into the drivers seat anymore!

I like the idea of retro fitting amps to newer technology as long as the original look is maintained and that it would have to be done by a local person for the knowledge to diagnose and repair it. The other more important factor would have to be the cost otherwise it would not make sense.
