fuzzydog
All floor level speakers should be as close to 1.2 meters from the floor as possible. Thanks Jay! That sounds like good advice. I'll set the speaker jacks for the surrounds at 4 feet from the floor.

Thanks! The HVAC guys we hired did a great job. We upsized the AC to a Bryant 5 ton unit with a new coil and gas furnace to match. We now probably have more invested in the HVAC system than all AV equipment and speakers combined, but the house feels great.

fuzzydog
Cool. Did you go with the Evolution? Ours is from their Legacy line. We talked with our guy about the higher end Bryant systems, but they were much more $$.

fuzzydog
We're nearly complete! The ceiling speakers are all in and the painting touch up is done. The carpet install is scheduled for Monday. We really wanted to put in hardwood flooring, but were worried about acoustics.
Nismo
At various (sites/forums/social media) when the question was posed about what in-ceiling speakers to consider... a Klipsch rep would always recommend the CDT-5650 as a great option. Nice to see them before the install. You are really making some great progress... I'm sure the anticipation is killing you. Your space will come alive very soon Can't wait to learn of your impressions of the CDT-5650's & your entire Atmos set up !! I will need to invest in a receiver/amp combination that will handle a 7.2.4 Atmos setup before the CDT-5650's start singing. Any recommendations?
