oldtimer
Marshawn Lynch was granted a trademark for his line "I'm just here so I don't get fined." I thought because I was told this once by a lawyer that a trademark was for made for words in conjunction with selling something. Now, since I have at least one or two phrases of my own which I have wanted to trademark with the future possibility of connection with a product, I would like to know the possibilities, and the interpretation for the Lynch grant. Is he getting it because as a publically known athlete he is considered a "brand?"
mungkiman
Should have trademarked "hold my dick."

USNRET
Should have trademarked "hold my dick." Sorry but that would be a legal matter better settled in SMALL claims court.
