pipe organ music

And now for something entirely different.

People who know me pretty well are occasionally surprised at my bandwidth.  I am always saying that my standards for music and recorded music are simple:  Beauty of composition, excellence in performance, and the highest standards in recording.  However, I am often considered a pipe organ Nazi looking askance at instruments with any more electric components than a blower.  However, synthetic organs can be extraordinary and do things a pipe organ can't...and some organists can do thing with them no other organist could...or would.  I consider Cameron Carpenter, now about 35, to be a genius and the Virgil Fox of our times.  His work totally polarizes people as you will note if you look at the comments on his YouTube stuff.  If you want to work out your subwoofer get some of his stuff in high res.  Some of these YouTubes aren't to bad and will rattle a window as well.  I just chose a couple at random.
