dtr20
I'm looking for a streaming audio device that's good for 2 channel output. I was thinking about buying a kindle fire, but I need to leave it hooked up. The Logitech squeezebox duet looks pretty good. Ideally I want something that can do Amazon prime music, as well as Pandora, other streaming services, and dlna for my own mp3s.
meeker1
Check out the chromecast audio. Has analog or digital output. Does not do Amazon, but does do Spotify, TuneIn Radio, Pandora or pulls from your NAS. A real audio bargain, IMO.
derrickdj1
I use the BDP. It has Pandora, Amazon digital collection and Amazon prime can be added. I also use a MyBook Live hard drive hooked up to the HT. It's small and space friendly as a HTPC.
dtr20
I don't have a tv near my 2 channel set-up, so I can't use a Blu-ray player. Has anyone checked out the MUZO cobblestone? It seems like just what I'm looking for, just not sure if it has a good quality audio output.
teaman
If you own a recent iphone or ipod with a 30 pin plug I suggest hunting down a Pure-i20 ipod dock. You can hook it up directly to your home audio via the digital optical toslink. Plus it keeps your phone charged at the same time. I own five of these docks and they sound awesome. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pure-i-20-i20-hifi-digital-iPhone-iPod-dock-incredible-sound-quality-/262305090359?hash=item3d129a0b37:g:2xIAAOSwe7BWzJ5l There are several listed on Ebay and most sell for well under $100. ToolShedAmps
Get an Apple Airport express and hang it wirelessly on your network. It has an analog audio output and allows for "Airplay" from your iPhone or iPad. You can then run any app you like (or embedded music library via iTunes)... works like a charm And, at $99, it's impossible to beat especially if you don't have a video display near your 2-channel rig...
