artto
I bought this used in the same condition as seen in the pics. It's not in A+ condition but is as I bought it. I tried to take the picture in harsh light conditions to show "the worst" of it. It's really not as bad as it looks but there are blemishes and one driver one has some slight crease in it which doesn't affect the sound. It's had light use as center speaker in my HT (which means just plain old TV most of the time). I've replaced it with a Klipsch RC64ii. Asking $250. Cash or PayPal. Local pickup preferred. Chicago, NW burbs I-290/I390. If shipping, it will be at your cost depending on location, insurance, etc. (I don't like shipping stuff like this due to the extra packing required). Also, FS a McIntosh MX130 and McIntosh MC7205. COME ON ~ make me an offer. Edited March 20, 2016 by artto

wisco1
I'm interested, could you show more pictures of the drivers? You mention one is creased, I'm guessing you're talking about the right one? Is the left one chipped or glued in the area surrounding the woofer?
artto
Actually, I never really noticed the "chip on the left driver frame (must be the old eyes thing, LOL). There's a little bit of crease in the left one too. Everything is the way I bought it. There's no lack of structural integrity in the frames or cabinet. It's just cosmetic. That's why I'm willing to sell it below market value. It doesn't affect the sound (I should know - see artto's klipschorn room in the Forum Architectural section). The cosmetics didn't make any difference to me since it was placed inside of a cabinet that the TV sat on. I bought a pair of RF-7ii and decided I'd rather have the RC-64ii as a center speaker because the voicing was better matched. pictures added Edited March 20, 2016 by artto
wisco1
Thanks for the explanation, unfortunately cosmetics on the woofers matter for my setup, can't make it work if I would have to replace both.

Psean
artto, do you still have your rc 7? I am a little concerned about the creases, but if not affecting sound, can live with. Sean p_sean_ryan@hotmail.com
