Bubo Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) If you want to go all out on the finish, call some local cabinet makers and a veneer shop if you can find one and get some quotes. Given your big empty space the work could be done in your home, which some vendors prefer. If you just want to oil them Watco Danish works well, I left mine natural birch which looks fine with a smoked glass top with beveled edges.
