The History Kid
The 2700 and 2800 are the beefier versions of what I have out in that room now, so that's pretty much the last nail in the coffin for that unit, Tim.
teaman
The HK sound to me is much warmer. I really like the upper echelon of what they offer. I used to own an older amp/preamp combo and it sounded really nice. The newer lines Magnolia offered sounded even better.
The History Kid
If the unit hasn't already sold, this will be the last step before I move to separates out there in that room, and I'll be staring at Emotiva the whole time with that.
teaman
I still have three Panasonic SA-HE200's in the basement. Initially I went from the Panny to the Yammy. Outside of the additional features the Yamaha offered the Panasonic was much more musical and actually had more punch too.130 wpc @6ohms x 6 channels. I used to have these set up in my girls rooms with some Infinity and/or Klipsch speakers. Nice little set ups outside of lack of HDMI which at the time we never needed. I should probably find a home for them.
