Subwoofer Help...Am I Screwed?

I've been enjoying my Onkyo A-9010 running into  (2) RP-160M speakers, and decided to purchase the R-12SW Subwoofer to round things out. Now...looking at the back of the receiver, there is only a "Line Out." I'm to understand that this is not the same as a "Pre Out," and will not work. The Sub also does not have speaker jacks, so that method is eliminated too.

Is there a way to hook these two up, or am I screwed? Thanks.

The Klipsch sub still has some value.  Sell it and pick something up with high-level inputs/outputs.  I am a recent covert to the idea that every system can benefit from a sub.  The sub is not supposed to shake the room, but reinforce those woofers and give some volume to those lowest octaves.

And welcome to the forum.  Come for the information, stay for the entertainment.  It gets better.  B)

I agree about the sub in music. A little goes a long way.

Part of me rationalizes that I listen to my amp the same volume 90% of the time anyway. The sub might be a bit quiet if I crank things...but...yeah probably just best to resell it. Ah well.

Thanks for the welcome!

I know this is some time ago, but for posterity, you are NOT screwed, even if you don't go for the wireless option.

Get a "speaker-level to line-level converter." I think it's mostly used for car audio but it can be used to add a subwoofer to any amp, really.
