YEAH!

After months and months of pursuading my father, he has accepted to buy the Klipsch RF-7s, RC-7, and the RS-7s! YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! cwm4.gif

Under one condition though, he will get only the SPEAKERS right now, the rest (A/V receiver, DVD player, SVS subwoofer) will come later as we just bought a brand new house (that will be completed in 2003) and need some money. But I don't care! I'll be happy just LOOKING at my RF-7s! Biggrin.gif

Oh my God, I can't explain how happy I am! THANK YOU KLIPSCH! My dream of a reference home theater is finally coming true!

Well, in our family, there is no such thing as "my father's stuff" or "my brother's stuff." In our family everything belongs to everyone. Smile.gif

Why did I get the speakers even if I can't use them? Well, we need to start somewhere, right?? We will be "building" the home theater piece by piece.

What happens when I move out? Obviously it stays in my family's home. But I will be going to university in about 2 years. So, 2 years of Klipsch goodness. Then it will be Klipsch goodness when I come to visit. Smile.gif

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of premium do you pay for speakers in far off lands?

I just remember JBL speakers were TWICE as expensive in Tasmania than in the USA, and BRITISH spekaers in LONDON were CHEAPER in LOS ANGLES than in England.
