USNRET
The wife wants taller legs (for the bed, her feet barely reach the floor). I will not be spending $600 for 2.5" longer legs, we have the 6.5 and she wants taller. Question, does anyone know the fastener diameter / thread pitch? I will make some 4x4 legs and really don't want to disassemble the bed to measure the leg attachment. And yo what about those KHORN box dimensions?? jimjimbo
Yea, sure, taller legs.....tell us another good one....
oldtimer
Depending on the style of bed frame I would just use those inverted cone risers. You probably already know that and your bed doesn't work with them. Will she then need a ladder too? If so pet stores have those step units relatively cheap... jimjimbo
You can get the plastic cones at the vet too, although they might be a little taller than what you're looking for....ok, I'm done....

oldtimer
You have two ways of figuring it out. Either get the info out of tech support (using some story about how one broke), or temporarily jack up the bed, remove a leg and take it to the hardware store where they have those measuring templates for common sizes. oldtimer
And pm Mallette for box measurements since he should still have the ones recently donated to the rhmc. You are talking about the boxes they come in right?
USNRET
Yea OT, I need to remove a mattress and then jack the heavy azz foundation, remove a leg and measure. I am lazy. Guess I'll send Dave a message, did you not get the lazy part?
oldtimer
I wouldn't remove the mattress. I am lazy. Jeez, how do you two put up with each other?
oldtimer
Now here's the kicker...won't you have to take it apart anyway to put on new legs?

USNRET
My plan of inserting 4x4s under the legs met with less then favorable reaction. The Roomba vacuum must have free access you know...........
