Mighty Favog
So here's the setting: A boy about 8-years old has a disability similar to Autism but his parents don't know what's wrong. He has a nanny of German descent who understands the boy. At one point in the movie the boy misbehaved and was told "You just blew dessert! (for dinner)" Later that night at home, the boy repeats "blew dessert" to his parents. The parents understand him to say "blue dessert". Being so excited that he actually spoke words, they go out and buy him any and all desserts that are colored blue albeit futile. Later in the movie they address the boy's speech problem. It sounds only like gibberish. But someone recorded the boy talking onto a reel to reel deck. Per happenstance the recording was slowed down to half speed........and then what the boy said made perfect sense. Any ideas what this movie is titled??
