My Uncle had one and he was told after he told them he heard nothing but noise that the doctors said he would have to learn to hear all over again. He looked at them and said you have to be kidding. He said they finally tweeked the $10,000.00 dollar amplifier so he could hear. 120K and two batteries per day keep the doctor away.
