Marvel
I happen to use DAW software from a Nashville company, Harrison Consoles. They have some of the largest consoles, used in the film industry, but a lot of their earlier gear was in recording studios. Michael Jackson's Thriller album was tracked and mixed on a Harrison. The podcast of Bobby Owsinski has an interview with Ben Loftis, who has been with Harrison for almost 20 years now. Great interview, talking the how and why they work hard to make their consoles sound like they are analog. The new DAW (Mixbus 32C) was created by modeling an original 32C console. The interview starts a few minutes in after some talk if a couple new Fender guitars starting price of $8k and up. Oh... Ben Loftis owns Klipschorns... http://bobbyoinnercircle.com/176-ben-loftis/ Hope you listen and enjoy. The pic is one of their film consoles at Creative Sound in Paris, FR. Marvel
I knew this one might be fun. The interview is kinda fun too, even if it's a 50 minute podcast.
