wuzzzer Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 Considering getting rid of my current Peavey subwoofer setup. Why? They drop like a rock below 40Hz or so. They're awesome for music but they are lacking in the ultra low bass department. I have a Crown xti1000 pro amp so I'm covered there. I'd prefer to buy two passive subwoofers to keep their costs down versus going self-powered. Not at all interested in building anything myself or having one built. Budget of about $1,000. If you keep an eye out they sometimes sell within your budget otherwise they're about $900 each new at the discount retailers last I looked.
