JL Sargent
I bought this to test and rework a few crossover networks, which I did. Works as it should. Mine uses a regular 9V battery and I've just installed a fresh Duracell for the new owner. Seems to work a long time on a new battery. $110.00 including PP and shipping to the 48 states. Thanks. Here is a link to one on Ebay. Several sellers offer them there. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Handheld-bridge-LCR-Meter-0-3-ac-0-01-resolu-TH2821B/322253337298?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D47300%26meid%3D9494a76fc2e24d5e8ac06614dd7125e1%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D3%26sd%3D270348182317%26itm%3D322253337298&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109
HiFi Heaven
From an Old Ham, licensed since 1960 - SWR meters read Standing Wave Ratios on RF transmission lines LCR meters read L [inductance], C [capacitance], R [resistance] Maybe post a photo? Cheers, Steve
efzauner
Nice machine. Did you measure some old caps? How had they degraded over time?
JL Sargent
Maybe being a ham myself is what messed me up. Anyway it is an LCR meter. Here is a photo. Still has the protective film over the screen.

I did measure several old caps and found the ESR all over the place. I replaced those caps with new ones.
