rplace
Anyone using Chromecast Audio with Flac files stored locally on a network? I can't get any to play. Here is my set up: Flac files stored on a NAS Hard wired Ethernet network to my listening location (Garage) ending with a wireless access point Chromecast Audio connected to integrated amp via RCA plugs, amp to La Scala Industrials Google Home (Required for CCA) Couple of players that are pretty well established Hi-Fi Cast and Bubbleup I can get any MP3 file to play on both CCA and Android devices. I can get 16 bit 44.1 KHz Flac files to play on Android devices only via the players above. I can't get any single FLAC file to play on the Chromecast Audio. One player reports it cannot play the other just does nothing with the FLAC files. Advice?
