kenratboy
http://www.absoluteaudiovideo.com/krelfulpowba.html They have Lexicon, McIntosh, Marsh, Classe', EAD, Bryston. Pretty amazing for a online store. You gotta e-mail them about McIntosh!
Mighty Favog
KRB- The last information I could find was that "new" McIntosh was not available on line. Audio Classics, however, can come up with some veeeery nice, barely plugged in, stuff. Ooopps! I just read your post after I responded. TheEAR
I will NEVER buy from an online store any High-End,they will NOT get a dime from me. Those are glorified distributors and they are expensive to boot! They can advertise as much as they want I will always buy local.SVS and CinePro will be exeptions to the rule, sold direct anyway.I speak with the company people not some greasy salesman who pockets it all. prodj101
what if it means saving 600 bucks on an RSW-15, 200 on SF-2's, 300 on sony SACD players, etc. (stuff that I bought online)?
TheEAR
I get good deals on the products I buy so the gap would not be as wide.I know some stores dont want to lower the price, let them rott. If however IF I had no other alternative...then I would buy online. Its not the case,as I compare prices and often shop around before giving my money for audio gear. sunnysal
Did anyone notice these guys carry klipsch? ANOTHER "unauthorized" online dealer serving a market need...when will Klipsch finally approve some online retailers so we can get at the gear more conveniently? regards, tony
kenratboy
I agree, why in the hell can't we get speakers conveniently! Even if we pay ~normal price, we should be able to get them online. I mean, for us who don't live in/near the big city, this is the only realistic way to do it. I caould probably find a dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area, but if the dealer is 4 hours away, why bother?
TheEAR
"Hey, I have purchased ALL my computer and camera gear omline. That is the only way to go!" No its NOT the only way, some customers need service and advanced custom configurations. Most know very little besides the hoopla they read on know all sites.
