BradWasTaken
I currently have two RP-280FA towers, previously had RF-62 II's in the front, and relocated to the rear now. Is there any benefits to upgrade from the RC-62 II to the RP-450C ? Is it an upgrade?
Frzninvt
The matching center to your mains will be the only upgrade anything else is a waste of money. Timbre' matching is the most important.
K5SS
Nope. I have owned RF-62’s with RC-62 and went to RP-160’s with RP-450C. I A/B tested the 62 and 450 and couldn’t really notice a large difference. Like mentioned above, stick with the RC-62 because it is designed both sonically and aesthetically, to match your RF-62’s. That is is a great combo BTW! I love the 6” Reference line, always have.

They punch well above their price point and are very accurate with human voice music.
