prodj101
what are the strong points between the 2, and how closely do they compare?
TheEAR
RF7's have more detail, will shound harsher with agressive material.RF7's use a true compression tweeter 2"(same unit used in the RC7).The twin 10" Cerametallic mid-bass drivers have a punch and bass slam only the largest Klipsch(KLF30,K Horns and other large Klipsch)can mach. The 10" mid-bass on the RF7's also have cast baskets, not the molded plastic you find on the rest of the new Klipsch series. Two ports like the RF-5 has one.In other words more output and a bit more revealing. In one word BETTER Lets just say RF7's have monster slam, they hit as hard as any speakers given a proper power amp,and have nothing to fear from KLF30's Want quality, want power get the RF7's.Just dont let anyone with sharp objects near the mid-woofer cones.
