celestial_sound
Hello guys, Can someone explain me why the bookshelf RP-600M is more expensive compared to RP-6000F and even RP-8000F. I've compared the prices on several different online shops(BestBuy, CRUTCHFILED and Expo Electronics). RP-600M ~ 550$ RP-6000F ~ 400$ RP-8000F ~ 500-600$ Do i miss something? According to website spec, all share the same technology/design - titanium tweeter and new port design. IMO towers speakers should obviously be more expensive (additional drivers, more complex crossover, more material etc) Thanks
wuzzzer
Here are retail prices for the three models you listed (for the pair) RP-600m - $549 RP-6000f - $998 RP-8000f - $1198 In many places (including Klipsch' own website) floorstanders are priced individually, while bookshelves are priced per pair. Beyond that, obviously certain models go on sale for various reasons from time to time depending on how well they're selling and other factors. wuzzzer
It's all in the marketing. They make you fall in love with something and then they tell you, by the way you'll need two of those. Nothing against Klipsch, every company does that to some extent. Here's a new car for only $19,995!!** **model shown is $34,995 😒
