Wolfbane
not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this, so moderators please move if necessary. Got these specs on one of my DAC's, the only non-tube DAC I own. Wondering about hooking it up to Shindo Pre-Amp and whether anything in the specs below suggest it would not match/work well with this combo? billybob
Would not hesitate to hook it up. Sabre DAC should sound nice and it will not know, and possibly you that is not a tube. Others here will no doubt chime in...
Schu
Nothing from those specs, if that is all you have, suggests a bad synergy.

Schu
Nothing really stands out to me... if you're worried about using a non-tube dac, don't be. Dynamic range seems like a moderate choke point, but I don't see why it wouldn't work well depending on your expectations. I take it you haven't received the Shindo as yet? Shindo Pre has been hooked up to the Yamamoto Amp for the last 2 days (14 hours) of listening. I also hooked it up to the Yulong DA8 II DAC earlier today and it fits in very well. Been playing some Hi Res DSD Files through it this afternoon with results I like. Wb
