mopardave
When selecting a mid horn for a 3way Cornscala, would the depth of the horn be an important aspect? 2 horns both 90*x40* 17x10 and 17x11, one 9" depth and the other 12" depth. One better than the other?
Nailbender
I would use the 12" depth horn. No technical reason except the angle should be closer to the stock horn. Brian

I should pull the back and measure to be sure. I may mount everything from the back of motorboard.
Marvel
@mopardave It originally was for the k-400, from a LaScala, which is why the cabinet was so deep. It would be better with a shorter horn so the drivers are closer in alignment, i.e., woofer and compression driver. Bruce

The M2380 horn is 9.41" long/depth $170/pr The PRV WG4550 horn is 7.5" long/depth $80/pr
justinsweber
The m2380 is a job 2380 clone. It’s a well known and well regarded horn. Buy the m2380. Likely a better horn. The 2380 can be crossed at 500hz. Pair it with a de85 or de750 if it wjll fit and you’re set. I’ve used this combo myself.
