Matthews Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Hi all 🙂 Need to find a pair of La Scala's to restore for personal use. Found a couple of leads on FB Market but nothing promising. What happened to the market while I was away? 🥴 edit: pair of Cornwall or Belle would also fit the bill. Thanks, Matt Quote

I would have expected that there would be more for sale due to Covid, but that has not been the case. Availability has gone down, prices have gone up. 1 Quote

DizRotus Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Be patient. Members have been known to drift away for years, only to return when they have something to sell . . . or buy. Welcome back. 2 Quote

Thanks, Matt re eddit: NO and yes LS or Belle is what you want. You've been down that road before. You want fully horn loaded and you know it! Only CW that you would like long term is possibly the CW IV but then you would have to sell your Hot Rod. (dont see that happening) Have fun getting back into this hobby. Prices have gone up since you left. sorry 1 Quote

You need to use your skills to resurrect an abused pair. 1 Quote

Mike, Is that a photo of your Belles? If so, do you use that Exodus Anarchy TH sub with the Belles? If so, it it just the one? How does that work? 1 Quote

Yes, that is an Anarchy TH sub, Lil' Mike to be exact. I use two of them with my Belles. I laid the subs on their side and used them as a base (pun intended) for them. They work very well together. In a larger room, I would assume the two subs wouldn't keep up with the mains but in my living room (14 x 20) they do great! 1 1 Quote

Thanks, Matt what's happening , is that a lot pf people have , bought and restored Lascala's over the years and they keep them once they are restored and upgraded , so the available quantities have dwindled . but on the other hand , Belles and khorns are showing up in bigger numbers ---- 1 Quote
