Dave A
I have never had the pleasure of playing with later model La Scalas so in some ways I have been groping in the dark on what goes where. I had measurements for the K-77-D as one of you wanted a set and worked with me to get correct dimensions. However for some reason I thought these would also cover the K-77-F's too and find out this is not true. Anyway here are the dimensions of yet another variable and a physical example I got to measure from. I think this pretty well covers all the variables out there I know of. Panelhead
That horn fits a La Scala II. Maybe others with the Z brackets.
OO1
The K77F with the Z brackets from the Lascala II is 1/4 wider on each side versus the regular k77 on the La Scala 1 - the opening of a Lascala 1 is therefore 1/2 inch smaller than the opening of a LSII

I thought they were the same basic size but they are not. There are three variations for size on the K-77's that I know of.

Dave A
On this new one the boss that goes through the motorboard is .6" rather than appx .72" so yes it is shorter. Whether it is short enough for the LSI I don't know. There is not a whole lot of demand for these later model K-77 variants so I have been working down the list in order of interest. Refresh my memory on how thick your's is. Oh by the way the first one of these was cut today so this type is ready to go.
