kjohnsonhp
I didn't really think about stand-up comedy on DVD. I have a few lps but no videos. My lp collection has many from George Carlin, Cheech & Chong, Robin Williams, Bill Cosby and Steve Martin along with one double lp white lable promo of WC Fields best. Juba310
"8)Clerks/Mallrats/Chasing Amy/Dogma/Jay & Silent Bob" haha, those are my favorite comedies. Except i didnt enjoy clerks all that much. Dogma was my top, just a hilarious movie... Also, what about the pure dumb humor of "Dumb and dumber"...that movie never gets old
kjohnsonhp
The cool thing about this thread is that you can go to NETFLIX.COM and read viewer reviews of the movies listed that you haven't scene. The reviews from both professional critics and hundreds of viewers seems to be a good way to size up a potential rental--even if you go to Blockbuster. I, however, love NetFlix. I got "turned on" to "Dangerous Beauty" from this thread and absolutely loved it. It's not your Me, Myself & Irene type of comedy and has enjoyment beyond the humor.
