Marvel
This (even from cnn) is a nice story. Reminds me of some of the extended BBC stories. https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2021/10/health/filipino-nurses-cnnphotos/ 2

billybob
Can almost remember the 2 in a small but worthy lab. Have me a Christmas card from them. Nice ladies... surprised not more than 4 percent. Happy 11th and good fortune!

My wife has a niece who is 100% Filipino (both parents Filipino). She works as an OR nurse Virginia Beach. (She is also a US citizen and Icelandic citizen [mom moved to Iceland with both her daughters to work as a caregiver]) There are nursing scools in the Philippines where upon graduating and passing board exams, can immediately work at hospitals in New York and Chicago. US citizenship not required to be a nurse.
DizRotus
Thanks Bruce. Until there is no shortage of healthcare workers in the US, especially in rural and urban areas, the US healthcare system gratefully relies on the skills of nurses, doctors and other healthcare workers trained outside the US.
