wstrickland1
The situation is this. I have a 4 zone stereo preamp/streamer and I want one of the "zones" to be for a sub. I have a single voice coil sub. Naturally I don't want one "side" to feed the sub. Is there a problem using a Y adapter from the pre-outs to the mono amp? I seem to remember some weirdness when I tried something similar when playing break music thru a PA but honestly don't remember what I rigged up that day. This is for an outdoor setup Thanks for the input
Schu
you are 'Summing' the LR channels?
Marvel
You would be shorting the L/R signals. The attached will work quite well. The 2 resistors on each leg will keep them from interacting. Very cheap to build with a couple old cables and three resistors.
