The bathroom scale puts them around 8.5 lbs for the burgundy mist Strat and closer to 7 lbs for the black one. The fretless jazz bass is around 10 or so. I'd like to have one like that one day. But I'm not really great at playing the guitar. I'm practicing playing uke more often. The last 'All of Me' by John Legend took me about a month of practicing. It's a great feeling when you finally nail a song, though. Paying it on the uke gave me a different perspective on the melody.
