Hey guys,

Just ordered a pair of refurbished 4.1s from Klipsch tonight and am really excited. I was planning on getting a pair of 2.1s new, but when I saw the deal on the 4.1s... well, lets just say it got the better of me.

Anyhow, what are your opinions on these? Im not expecting perfect appearence, but aside from that have you had any problems? This distortion at low volume thing is kind of scary... I hope I dont have these sorts of problems. What do you think? I would like to know.

Thanks,

-Dan

I bought the 4.1s about two months ago. I have had no problems at all. I can't tell that they are not brand new. No cosmetic defects, or any other kind. I also have not experienced distortion at low volumes. I am completely happy with my purchase.

I've had my refurbs for 2 months now. Was working fine until oneday last week the sub began to get weak. The bass was almost absent and at higher volumes the whole sub began to rattle. I got pissed and asked for a refund. I opened up the sub yesterday to look around, and found a wire to have come loose. I just plugged the wire back in and my sub is back in top form. There is no way the jumper could have come loose unless it was connceted poorly at the workshop. I'm thinking klipsch ppl aren't too serious with their refurb sets leading to such shoddy workmanship.
