bsacco
It's true.....It's blown...hard to believe you could actually do it. I inherited this speaker. It was installed in my Cornwall. I replaced it with a K-33. Now I'm stuck with a blown , lone K-43 E. Anyone want it? It's 60 pounds and needs re-coning. Other than that it's in great shape. I can't imagine its worth much $'s because it would cost just as much to ship as its worth (as a blown woof that needs recone). I live in Northern CA, so if any Klipsch dudes want it, let me know at bsacco@attbi.com
Jim Cornell
K-43 Cornwall 2 woofer, na we wont want it, im sure, 60 pounds? Regards Jim
djk
The only way a K43E will weigh 60LBS is if you ship it in a 35LBS box. Usually all that goes wrong with a K43E is the tinsel leads go open. LEO GUNTHER ENTERPRISES, (916) 865-7719 Leo is a good re-coner, I've sold him K43E kits before.
Jim Cornell
ardon me for asking but did you buy those black cornwalls on E-bay with the industrial woofers? Jim
erikjohn
If all else fails youve got yourself one hell of a refridgerator magnet. I still use the magnet from an old K-77 on my fridge.LOL EJ

bsacco
ok...I exaggerated...maybe 35 pounds like you say....what are tinsel leads?
Frzninvt
The tinsel leads are the leads that run from the connection terminals on the back of the speaker to the speakers voice coil. They are thin flexible wires and should be plainly visible from the back side of the woofer.
Jim Cornell
I remember them, reason for the blown K-43 just might be from the downsized box? You might want to consider that! Also the seller stated they had no bass due to the new size! Regards Jim
