fini
Hmm, now I'm thinking it's the white and the purple. The purple definitely goes to the power switch. Another purple wire jumps to the input selector. The white wire comes off this selector (returning to the amp).
3dzapper
Looks like the purple wire comes off one lead of the power cord, goes up to the switch, then returns when turned on as the white wire to the primary winding of the tranny. If you look at Mike's, he has the power cord going to the black and red/black transformer leads.
jt1stcav
Wish my bro had kept his 6BQ5 SE Maggie. The previous owner had serviced/semi-restored the lil' 2 to 3 watter, installing the power switch, replacing caps, and soldering an inline fuse underneath the chassis (I gotta look for an underbelly shot of this amp; I'm sure my brother took one sometime ago...) Damn but it sounded good, with ample bass with my Cornwalls to boot!
mike stehr
"fini, Don't do it exactly like Mike did. Put a fuse between the power cord and the switch." There is a inline fuse holder on the line cord, but I would advise fini to use a panel mount, they look better anyway.
