Redsmall
Hello everyone ! I currently have an Imac with an M1 chip. I would like to buy a Klipsch the tree to use its DAC. Do you know if it is compatible with Imacs with M1 chip please? THANKS

billybob
Cannot think of a reason why not. Others here may say. What connection will you use between the Three and the computer?
Redsmall
A USB connection. I would like to have feedback from users in fact, because nothing is certain and I don't want to invest for nothing...

RealMarkDeneen
Just an opinion: Reading the spec sheet for the Three, it seems the inputs are "USB" and "Bluetooth." Both of those standards have nothing to do with which processor chip your PC is using. Both standards transcend the processor architecture. I have all sorts of Mac and PC processors, and they are all compatible with USB and Bluetooth.
Redsmall
USB use requires a specific driver. It exists natively on Macos with an Intel architecture, but may not be on an M1 architecture. That's why I'm asking for user feedback.
scalawag
You should be good. My desktop "system" is an M1 iMac with Klipsch R-15PM bookshelf speakers, and connectivity/performance is solid with no issues whether rca-analog, bluetooth, toslink-optical, or usb. I have even connected my Mi Macbook Pro with the R-15PM units with the same good results. I would think the "Three" would offer the same connectivity options. Note: if connecting via usb you will need a usb-c adapter going into the iMac....
Redsmall
@scalawag Thank you very much ! User feedback is all I needed. So MacOs under M1 architecture must also have a DAC driver compatible with Klipsch hardware. Cool.
