I mean, if we are talking digital then there are a lot of variables regarding the quality of the sensor used.

I know that medium format film provide for a better dynamic range than 35mm film (full format 😇).

I have seen photos from medium format Hasselblads with digital backs, Phase One... also better DR.

I have seen photos made with MF digital blads, also a better DR.

I have seen photos made with Fuji MF cameras, not so. Many variables comes into play with digital, but I am also not so good with 0 and 1 to tell what is the weakest link regarding DR. It is wort investigating.
