Vladi Posted March 12, 2003 Share Posted March 12, 2003 Just got Norah Jones live from The House of Blues in New Orleans on DVD, and all I can say is superb recordind, and superb picture. It was like she was in my living room! Oh, and the bass is outrageous on this DVD, the kick drum just kicks your chest. Neighbours came and asked if we were rehearsing or something... I am so tired of the "cookie cutter" alternative and hip-hop acts that have cluttered the popular music field. She is Ravi Shankar's daughter. He was the sitarist who taught George Harrison. While watching this superb concert,I noticed it had an Austin City Limits feel to it. Lo and behold Randy Ward is the producer. This is a must for anyone who wants good Blues!
