dodger
Greetings: I have noticed a number of Klipsch owners using Scott 299s to power the speakers. Does anyone have one for sale ? Must be working well and must be in great Cosmetic shape. If it needs any work it should go to NOS VALVES, then me. dodger (Win, short for Winford)

NOSValves
http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?ampstube&1057533895 $350 without tubes ouch !!
NOSValves
Dodger did you bid on the 299B ?? Never bid till the very last few seconds. Decide the most your willing to pay and throw it all at the auction in the last few seconds. Anything else is insane and just drives the price up. garymd
My 299b arrives tomorrow from Craig!!! Seems like I've waited an eternity. If for some reason I like my old kenwood better, I'll sell it to you at my cost. lol
bkrop
They are always for sale, it just depends how much you are willing to pay!
Daddy Dee
Garymd Congrats on getting Craig's rebuild. You are going to love it! I had no idea how sweet tubes would sound. In fact, if you think your Kenwood sounds better, I want to hear your Kenwood! Dee

Not the junk they make today. My guess is it will take over basement duty. Also just ordered a new cartridge for the TT today so by next week all will be well in MD. Reviews will be forthcoming.
