Problem with definitions is that what some individual will consider "bright and detailed" another one will consider "harsh and colored".

I do not believe that subjective accounts are really valuable. On the other hand, Im not an "objectivist" either, I consider that actual measurements only account for a small number of the variables involved.

So, in a way, I would encourage to any possible buyer to hear by himself, and read only to have an informed opinion on what he is listening. But Never to make a decision.

Just wanted to thank those of you who participated. I've forwarded your comments to my friend/editor in Japan. The article will appear in Audio Basic (Japan), probably this winter.

Man, I would love to read that article.

I would assume that audiophiles throughout the civilized world would describe the sound of their systems the same way...if not, the differences would be quite amusing, to say the least.
