JohnA
That looks like a nice system for a room that size. Use an RB-35 for the rear center.
damonrpayne
Nope, you could go even more in a room that size. An SVS sub in there might be a tad overkill though Of course "over the top" can be fun...
marksdad
my stuff is in a room about 16 by 14, and it rocks
Mlstrass
What's overkill??? I recently moved all my equipment to an unused 4'x8' closet!!
amonteiro
How would a rear center work in a room like that. Since chances are there won't be much space between your couch and the rear wall. I have a r*-3 setup in a 13x14 room.
marksdad
i agree, there really isnt room for a rear center, i used 2 rc in this spot in my ht, and it simply did not work, i was litterally sitting on top of them, sound just was not there, did not have a chance to develope before hitting my ears

TheEAR
I tell you what overkill is My smallest audio/PC room is only 10*14 about 13 foot high(divided in two sections, upper and lower). The lower 10*14 section is 6 and a half foot high(betwen beams). In this lower section I have... 4 Klipsch RF7's(two front and two rear sourrounds) 2 Klipsch RF5's(side sourrounds) 1 Klipsch RC7 2 Klipsch RB5's(now unused, fron effect channels) 1 Klipsch RSW15 sub 1 Klipsch RSW10 sub 1 Sunfire Signature sub 1 Sunfire Mark II sub 1 Velodyne HGS18 sub ATI 1505 power amp(for sourrounds) ATI 2505 power amp(for the front three) Sunfire Theater Grand II(pre/pro) JVC HR-S9800U SVHS Pioneer DVAX10(main CD/SACD/DVD player) Toshiba 5700(secondary CD/DVD,backup) Paradigm X30 sub crossover Toshiba 34" 16*9 TV 2 Chang Lightspeed 6400MK II power conditioners 1 Chang Lightspeed 3200 power conditioner and all Monster M2.4B speaker wiring, plus M1000 interconects.M850 used for subs. Power cords by UltraLink All wall receptacles are hospital grade Well its a modest system in a tiny space...providing a GIANT HT performance to knock...err rip the socks off. See all in a 10*14 room and 6.5 ft high!talk about packing gear
