Dylanl
Where can I get plans & parts to build my own Klipschorns. I have seen some on e-bay are these any good? I also saw some form altec. Any help please
snarfred
Hello there: I have purchased these plans from the ebay seller. They are pretty straight forward, but unless you have had any woodworking experience, you might find it a bit of a challenge. I made two of these in one weekend. Make SURE all the joins are "SEALED" with caulking and not just glue. I used the proper Klipsch bass drivers and am absolutley thrilled do death with the. If I can be of any further help, let me know! Frans
HDBRbuilder
Snarfred, There is no need for caulking the joints, just wipe extra glue into them, then wipe off the excess...thereby providing the extra "insurance seal" of the parts...providing the parts have the proper fit, that is all that is needed...and all that was done at the factory. No matter how good a set of plans is, if they don't include assembly techniques and hints, as were/are used in original production assembly, then they are lacking.
