cluless
Gary- Glad to see you back & it looks like your generator investment paid off. Sorry to hear your wife is still under the weather.
garymd
Thanks Clu. We got doused last night with another major rainstorm. My basement is worse now than it was with Isabel. What did we do to deserve this? A lot of people lost the power they had just regained the day before. There was no place for all that water to go. Anyone know a reputable company that can waterproof my basement? It has to be done from the outside unfortunately which means big $$$. I'm tired of the damn leaks though. fini
You know, around here, hardly anyone has a basement. It's not unusual for crawl spaces to flood in our wet winters, though. That makes working down there (running cables, fixing pipes & ducts) a real pain. I wish I was back there to lend a hand, Gary. My best wishes for you and your wife. fini

There is even suspicion that a tornado touched down somewhere near Richmond. The river is probably flooded back up to where it was during the hurricane. Luckly, my basement did not flood during this or the hurricane. Now the way this is going, I would not be surprised if we end up getting hammered with 30 plus inches of snow during the winter in a single storm (and I hope I am at the ski hill when it happens )
