k-horns and belles

That Technics will be fine for a beginning rig for Klipschorn and Belle Klipsch speakers. They are rated at MAX input of 105 WPC. Beware, though...you will hear things you never heard before with these speakers. They are very revealing of weaknesses upstream in your components. You will be hearing things, both good and bad...good in that the music will be amazing...bad in that equipment feeding signals into the speakers will show all the flaws of the equipment...such is the way in big old horns! I would imagine that you will be swapping that Technics out for something else in the near future...likely some of your other components, too!

Also be careful with dealings with Put Seumson (spelling ?), if you are nearby and can inspect the speakers in person I would highly advise it. Do not give him his initial asking price, haggle it down some. He buys the stuff locally as cheap as he can and looks for big profits. One of our forum members here had some dealings with him at one point and he was not exactly forthright. Proceed with caution.
