garymd
What year heresys did they come out of?
itsmyforte
honestly i am not 100% sure i think 75 or 76.
garymd
I was just curious since I just had my '72s open. Someone should grab those T35s since they fit almost every heritage speaker before 1986. I already have 2 spares or I would. That's a very fair price.
Seadog
If they are not already spoken for, I would like to buy the tweeters. Thanks, David

Tom Mobley
How were those tweeters mounted? I don't see any screw holes in the corners? That's right though, T-35's work in most all heritage.
itsmyforte
Tom, you are correct there aren't any mounting holes. the back of the tweeter has a post built into the cup for mounting to a frame i'd guess. i purchased them for a project knowing i'd have to buy different horns but i am getting rid of stuff to complete another project. Tom Mobley
That's new to me. I've never seen one with a stud sticking out of the back. I don't think they're out of a 70's Heresy. Do the later Heresy with drivers mounted on the front of the motorboard use some kind of bracket around the back? I'm asleep at the wheel, if they were some later style they would have square magnets. I just plain don't know what exactly they are. AlNiCo round magnets though. Tom Mobley
Those crossovers look exactly like the ones in my one-owner 77 Heresys. It's a sealed box so they look like new even after all these years. Nice pieces.
itsmyforte
let me offset any confusion, the xovers came from a 75 or 76. the tweeters i know are NOT klipsch K77's they are T35's from what speaker or vintage i am not sure of. i have tested them and they are 8 ohms and the horn is without a doubt the same as k77 but not sure why there is no mounting holes. garymd
You're right Tom about those tweeters. They either have to be front mounted, drilled out or framed in somehow. My '72s have the holes which fit into the bolts coming from the motorboard, same as the squaker. I don't quite understand.
itsmyforte
networks are sold, awaiting decision on tweeters.
Daddy Dee
Makes me wonder why there are so many sorry looking crossovers out there on Ebay. Those look great!
3dzapper
Those tweeters originally were in a co-axial speaker in the middle of the woofer's voice coil. Rick
