In fact after seeing others post the links they did: Jeep w/kid attached to bumper, or a Austrailian beer commercial depicting a "BJ" I didn't think twice about posting. And if you review offtopic posts, pretty much every one I notice thats not in "General Questions" I comment on, and tell people to keep on topic. This section is called "Odds and Mods", thus just about anything goes here as well as in the general section. In fact, off-topic posts is probably more appropriate in this section than the "General Questions" section. Yes, agreed that the original poster should've at least put a warning that the links may contain vulgar language and images. (BTW, that second link does not appear to be working anymore anyways). But I have been on enough forums killed by offtopic posts, that I would rather be vocal about it now, before the cross posting is so prolific that nothing can be done. Offtopic posts force an entire forum to filter through waste of time posts. Do I find these links funny? Actually, I did. But I am at an AUDIO forum, and I don't want this crap cluttering up the area. Not to mention the fact that the post was not safe for work, and not tagged as such. Do you think Klipsch as a company likes hosting a forum where people post links to porn? I doubt it. They spend the money for bandwidth, and human resources so we can talk about audio. An occasional offtopic banter is great, since so many people are friends here. The main focus needs to stay on AUDIO however. On the second point, this is the account I use for posting about offtopic threads. I pretty much only use it when a post is offtopic, or I feel like posting something that I wouldn't post on my main account. Believe it or not, but by day (my other acct), I am a decently respected, fairly long time poster. So it makes sense that you only see posts from this account complaining about offtopic threads.
