Stig Posted February 19, 2004 Share Posted February 19, 2004 Hi Tom, am building Altec 816 cabs and hit a snag on the mounting bolt diameters. The older A7 cab used standard 14 9/16 dia. bolt circle for a 15" driver. The newer 828 and 816 cabs use a 15" dia. bolt pattern to accomadate the last series of Altec drivers which had a 16" frame. When your done talking horns, have him talk about history.
