BigBusa
The seller is an older gent who's 6 hours away and in no really hurry to sell. Over the last 1.5 years I've called him every now and then to express my interest. This AM he told me to come out and buy it this weekend. Sansui au 20,000, tu 9900, sr525 NIB bose 901 series 4 Teac a6300 Akai gx747dbx w/dustcover and reels pioneer ct9r According to the seller all the gear is like new, in the original boxes with packing & paperwork! Rdmarsiii
Whats a bose 910? Do you mean a 901?

wrench_peddler
Sure do have a lot of Bose "experts" around here. Closet Bose lovers maybe?
Piranha
Busa, How much are you getting all that gear for?
BigBusa
$1650 ... Not a super bargain like some I've had in the past but most of the gear I'll be keeping for myself. If the surrounds are still good on the 901's I'm gonna have a nice Khorn / 901 shootout. Truth be told, I've always liked the 901's. Never owned a pair but liked them any time I had a chance to hear them.
ben.
The forum will get shut down for a month if you post about that shootout. AA would love it, I'm sure! I'm giggling just picturing the froth on the keyboards.

BigBusa
AA banned me ...Rod is all over my posts ...deleting them as I hit enter. Tshoe ... I think a lot of the 901's being sold used are older. The surrounds deteriorate after 10+ years. These series 4's are NIB but roughly 20 years old. I bet they'll be toast. T_Shomaker
If they are ruined are you going to get one of those kits off ebay so you can put new surrounds on those 16 DRIVERS!?
BigBusa
haha naaaa they'll go to www.dalbec.com a great local speaker repair place.
ssh
Bose used to sell new 901s with a new processor at a replacement cost. I sent them mine & they replaced the series 4s with a newer series for $300. That was a few years ago. SSH
