t8ter
How would I safely gain access into my heresy 2's to rewire the crossover as there doesn't seem to be scews on the back panel, thanks
TBrennan
You can't figure it out? But you want to "rewire" them.
T_Shomaker
That was hilarious
Frzninvt
Removing the woofer would be a good start if the input cup on the back for your Heresy II is not removable. There should be screws attaching the input cup to the rear panel. The crossover is housed on the input panel on the rear. Some Heresy II's came with a circular input cup and others with a rectangular one. Messing with the crossover will require some degree of technical ability and knowledge. t8ter
Easy guys I was wondering how some of you actually opened yours up to rewire! I didn't need a lesson in sarcasm.
HDBRbuilder
Access to the interior of the Heresy II models is by removing the woofer, as was already mentioned.
TBrennan
T8---Sorry buddy, but I just think it's funny that you can decide you need to rewire the things while not even being mechanically inclined enough to figure out you simply remove the woofer. t8ter
It wasn't a case of not being able to figure out how to access the inside of the speaker but the most preferable way, ok, maybe to a tech guy like yourself this is a joke, but through a site such as (updating older speakers) it allows one to ask and receive info by people who have been through the procedure and know. Like yourself who has been through it hundreds of times.
ricktate
You are right in asking,,,beter ask than to make a mistake....some here have removed woofer door on K-Horns and pulled the wires out of the woofer,,,and if they would have asked first could have saved them some money,,,,so there are no stupid questions ,,,,if you dont know ,ask....someone will know ..rick
